Jillian Otten - Monday, May 06, 2019

Sally Corbin, CEO of Union Services Agency, was featured in The Rough Notes Company, Inc. article ‘Labor of Love—A Family History of Union Involvement Inspires this Agent to Focus on their Insurance Needs’ written by Elizabeth Boone.

Corbin founded Union Services Agency in 1996 with her father “to meet the insurance and risk management needs of labor unions and joint apprenticeship training committees.’ The Corbin’s realized a need for proper labor union insurance and identified national carriers that are committed to labor unions.

Because of her history and knowledge of unions, Corbin has been able to successfully build her business.

“From her first meeting with a union leader to the present day, Corbin has demonstrated that expertise and commitment render irrelevant those old stereotypes of rough and tough union bosses who disdain to work with women,” Boone writes. Corbin has overcome the struggles women often face while working in a male dominated field.

Over the past 23 years, labor unions have changed and evolved. Corbin has identified and continues to satisfy the insurance needs of unions.
